Though how much care we take, we often find stains on our Carpet
.
There may be different causes for stains such as wax, pet urine, blood, food, ink and many more.
Some stains are removed easily whereas some are very stubborn.
Here are few steps of removing the carpet stains easily
- If you have fresh stains, then use a toilet tissue and place it on the stained spot. The tissue will soak the stains and later on rinse it with water and allow the carpet to dry. Or else take a white cloth, place it on the spot and leave it for overnight. It will soak the stains and prevent spreading to other areas of the carpet.
- Stain remover works well if you have stains of juice, jam, ketchup and other food items.
- Use dishwasher bar to remove the stains of coffee and tea marks. Even you can use stain remover to remove the stains of coffee and tea. However, remember to test it on one side of the carpet as it may result in fading of color.
- Break cleaner is best if your carpet has stains of grease, or ink. It will not only remove the stain marks from outside but also from deeper surface of the fabric.
- Bloodstains can be easily removed by using the baking soda. Take 6 tablespoons of baking soda, mix it in half cup of water, and apply it on the stained spot.
- Pet urine stains can be removed using alcohol. Pet urine odor can be effectively removed using baking soda and vinegar.
- Use Vaseline jelly to remove the lipstick stains from the carpet.
- Take a plastic sheet, place some ice cubes on it and rub it on chewing gum or wax stains. They will come out easily.
- If you have nail polish stains on the carper, take a tissue and spill nail polish remover on it and rub gently on the stained spot. Now rinse the area with cold water and allow it to dry.
